Begin by taking our assessment. Once completed, if there are at least three percentage points between your first and next styles (ex. 16% and 13%), then assume it's accurate. If your top scores are within two percentage points (ex. 16% vs. 14%), then it's likely still accurate. However, if your top scores are tied or just one percentage point off (ex. 15% vs. 14%), go to our "Styles" pages and compare the "Motivations and False Beliefs" sections in your top styles. These sections will serve as a "tie-breaker" since they describe the foundation of each Enneagram style. If you're still undecided, two common variables that affect an accurate assessment result. First, people with style Nine have trouble discerning their own opinion. If a Nine is in your top two scores, you're likely to be a Nine. Second, maturity has a way of balancing people. So, if you're over 50, reflect upon which of your top styles best described you as a teenager. If you still can't decide, give it some time. Ask trusted friends or family what they think. That said, remember this is a motivational, not a behavioral tool. Therefore, only you can decide what truly motivates you. ​

The Enneagram recognizes that there are not just nine types of people in the world. In fact, each style carries “flavors” of the other styles. For example, let's say you're a Nine ("Peacemaker"). Every Nine either has an Eight or One wing (see the lines on the outside of the Enneagram drawing. To identify which is your wing, take our assessment. Your wing will be the number in which you received a higher score on either side of your primary score. So, if your primary style is Nine and your One is higher than your eight, then your a Nine with a One wing. For more information on your wing, please download your full report.

We have found that is very safe and, in fact, provides a wide-open door for the gospel through the Enneagram. However, there has been a lot of poor research, rumors, and conspiracy theories on the origins of the Enneagram that have led some to be cautious of using it.
